Rebecca is an Associate at Family First and works almost exclusively in family law.
She understands the emotional strain that separation and family law disputes can place on clients. Rebecca began her legal career at a niche boutique firm in the Milton Keynes area in 2011 and started her journey towards qualification as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2012, qualifying in 2018 with strong results. She is now a Fellow Chartered Legal Executive. She has developed extensive practical experience alongside her formal qualifications.
Every client’s circumstances are different, and Rebecca takes a tailored approach to ensure that each client feels supported, comfortable and well informed throughout their matter. Before clients make important decisions, she ensures they understand their options and the potential implications, explaining matters clearly in friendly, straightforward language.
Rebecca considers both conventional and creative approaches to resolving matters in the most constructive way possible. She also recognises that court proceedings cannot always be avoided and has substantial experience representing clients firmly and effectively through the court process when required.
Rebecca has experience in high-net-worth financial cases, including matters involving complex issues such as trusts, dissipation of assets, limited companies, multiple properties, overseas assets, enforcement proceedings and other financial complexities.
She also has significant experience in Children Act matters. Rebecca takes a detailed and pragmatic approach, identifying early where agreement may be possible and addressing potential obstacles at the outset.

She has experience working with third-party experts and has dealt with cases involving alcohol misuse, drug misuse, safeguarding concerns and children with additional needs.
In addition, Rebecca has represented vulnerable clients in injunction proceedings under the Family Law Act, helping to protect their safety and well-being, as well as the welfare of children or other relevant individuals.
